We finally caved in & let Harper take dance classes.
The classes were once a week for an hour from Septemeber-May.
To say she didn't love it would be a lie.
She absolutely LOVED it.
And she's actually pretty good at it.
Apparently, she sticks her tongue out while deeply concentrating.
Tongue out again while leaping.
Visitors are always welcome to watch.
Halloween week
Holiday Recital
The final dance was on the BIG STAGE.
She's been dreaming about being on stage.
She was so excited for her recital that she couldn't sleep & woke at 6 am.
Needless to say, she also didn't take a good nap.
I dropped her off backstage at 6:30pm.
It was a strange feeling to just leave her backstage, with out me or daddy for a few hours.
She was pumped up
and ready to dance her little heart out.
Even more so when she saw her buddy.
Her group went on stage & did an awesome job.
Harper blew me away with her dancing.
She was a natural.
Her smile never faded.

The kids stayed backstage until the end of the recital ( 8:30 ).
And the tears came.
She was overstimulated & completely exhausted.
This was too long to keep the kids backstage.
She told me she was crying because she missed her mommy!
She perked up after seeing all of her family
Big sis was also in the same recital.
My girl may have a natural talent.
What's a mom to do?
Go with it?
