Patch Time

I absolutely love this time of year.

I love the smell of Fall, the colors of Fall, the pumpkin patch & most importantly, bringing Harper home during this season.

This year we made two visits to the patch.

Our first visit was with our cousins, followed by a slumber party at our house!

It was great having JuJu & Tori for the night.

I took  the kids by myself to the patch, pretty brave, right?

Since they behaved so well, we went to Steak N Shake ( FYI, kids eat free on weekends), ate dinner & had  milk shakes!

Neil joined us for dinner : )

Last weekend we visited a new patch, well, one we've never been to before.

Another great time with the girls at the pumpkin patch!

Sneak Peak

We had the girls photos taken about a month ago & I've been dying to see  them.

They stayed that weekend with Mimi & Papa, so I had no idea how good or bad the photo session went.

Katie took Harper's first photos about a month after being home.

I have a confession.... as a mother of girls, I'm embarrassed to admit, I don't know the names of all of the princesses.

Harper had to give me a quick lesson on it.

More Birthday Fun

We had a double bounce house birthday party for Harper & Tori's 5th birthday.

The kids bounced from 4:00 until the party ended later in the evening.

My kids never even stopped to eat!

We started the morning with a boa & Harper picking our her outfit. 

A dress, of course!

I went to Harper's school & had lunch with her.

Not a bad day for a five year old.

As she's getting older, especially more recently, she wants to talk about China.

She likes to here stories of when we met her in China & loves looking through her China scrapbooks.
